Gilroy has been home since I was a kid. I raised my kids here, and now I get to watch my grandkids grow up here too.  Nine years ago my husband and I found a nearly hundred-year-old house near downtown Gilroy at an open house and fell for it on the spot: walkable to the library, local coffee shops, and downtown. Our neighbors introduced themselves before we'd even finished unpacking, and I've felt at home ever since.

I'm a numbers person by trade. After my finance degree, I spent more than fifteen years in the industries that built this valley — agriculture and wine — often sitting across the table from growers who'd been at it for forty years. I helped them make sense of their financials; they taught me how the valley really works. I earned my master's in 2013 my CPA in 2019. In 2020, I stepped in as CEO of R.A.C. Services, our family's facilities management company. I try to run it the only way I know how — do what you say you'll do, take care of your people, and work hard for the people counting on you.

People ask why we keep our headquarters downtown, and the honest answer is simple: I love Gilroy. Most of my employees live here too. In 2024, I opened up a second downtown business, SynerG Coworking, and it's been a joy to watch it do a little of what I hoped — bring a few more people onto the sidewalks and into the lunch spot next door. I have so much respect for every business owner in this city. They chose to bet on our community, and I know firsthand what that takes.

Some of what I'm proudest of has nothing to do with my own businesses. I've had the opportunity to help commission a mural at Eliot School, and lead the remodel of therapy rooms at Rebekah Children's Services. I had the honor of chairing the YMCA's House of Toys drive, where together we raised $10,000 for local kids. These projects gave me the opportunity to contribute to our community in meaningful ways.Â

I believe good leadership starts with listening. The best solutions don’t come from City Hall alone—they come from the people who live here, work here, and raise their families here. My job is to listen, make thoughtful decisions, and follow through. Gilroy has everything it needs to thrive. I’m running because I want to help build that future, together.
